Three things a hockey ranking can't do
A skater is worth what he does per game times the games before the week ends. A goalie is worth what he does per start times the starts he actually gets: a tandem goalie with four team games is two starts, not four.
Wins, GAA and save percentage are judged against the goalies your league rosters — GAA as goals below what the pool would allow in his minutes, SV% as saves above the pool's rate on his shots — then put on one axis with the skaters. A starting goalie ranks with the top skaters; a backup does not.
The matchup is projected category by category. When hits are within one streamer of flipping, it says so, names the free agent with five games, and names the drop.
