Dan Vladar
Dan Vladar looks like half of a Flyers tandem with Joseph Woll, and current coverage doesn't show which of them is the clear No. 1.
Role
Wire note says day-to-day, which I did not research further. Inside the Rink's 11/01 Flyers-Mammoth preview lists the goaltenders as Vladar and Woll. A game-day lines tweet aggregator (no date on the tweet) has beat writer SGNolan reporting that Vladar starts against Utah with Woll as the backup. The same aggregator has Woll in net on Oct 28 at Washington, per a warmup report, so the starts appear to be alternating. I could not find a games-played split or confirmation of who is ahead. Last season he had 8 GP and 1 GS, so a 1 GS season is not a guide to this year's workload. Skaters in front of him per the 11/01 preview: Sanheim-Drysdale, York-Seeler, Benoit-Bonk. I did not fetch the Daily Faceoff page, so I am not reporting what it says today.
He started the most recent game I found (Utah, per the beat-writer tweet), and the 11/01 preview lists him first among the goalies. If that order reflects the coaches' preference, he is getting real starts in an 84-game season. The Flyers have also been using young, skilled forwards on two power-play units, which suggests an offense that can support wins.
Woll started on Oct 28 and appears to be splitting the work, so Vladar may not hold a clear majority of starts. Last season's line is 26 GA on 227 SA across 8 GP, with 3 W, 3 L and 2 OTL, and that is a small sample that doesn't prove a starter's workload. The day-to-day wire note adds some risk to his availability.
Where analysts split
broad agreement is not established: I found no analyst piece arguing either side. The open question is whether Vladar or Woll gets the larger share of starts. The current evidence shows only alternating starts and a Vladar-then-Woll listing.
Research confidence: thin. Outlooks are grounded in web search over current reporting and refreshed through the season.
