Leaky Black
Leaky Black is a fringe training-camp addition in Sacramento fighting for a non-guaranteed roster spot, not a rotation piece anyone should plan around.
Role
He signed a training camp contract (an exhibit-10 type deal) with the Kings on September 25, 2026, after being waived by the Washington Wizards on July 1, 2026. As of camp opening there is no reporting confirming a roster spot, a role, or minutes; he is simply competing for a spot on Sacramento's regular-season roster, and the Kings' preseason slate (including a game against the Lakers on October 5, 2026) had not yet produced any published account of his exhibition usage as of this check.
He has NBA experience across parts of two seasons with Charlotte and Washington and gives Sacramento a cheap, defense-oriented forward option to evaluate in camp and exhibition games; teams sometimes carry this type of wing for depth if injuries open a spot.
He is on a non-guaranteed training camp deal, was already let go by his prior team, and there is no beat reporting, coach quote, or exhibition-game line yet suggesting the Kings view him as anything more than a camp body competing for a bottom-of-roster or two-way type opportunity.
Where analysts split
There is no real analyst disagreement here because there is essentially no current coverage of his camp performance or role; the only settled fact is the transaction itself (signed to a training camp deal September 25, 2026) with no subsequent reporting on how camp or exhibition games have gone for him as of this check.
Research confidence: thin. Outlooks are grounded in web search over current reporting and refreshed through the season.
