Nils Aman
Nils Aman is no longer part of the Vancouver Canucks organization: Elite Prospects' transaction log shows a confirmed move from Vancouver to Djurgardens IF of the Swedish SHL dated 21 July 2026, and he is absent from every piece of Canucks training camp and preseason line coverage found for September 2026.
Role
No NHL role to report. He does not appear in any of the Canucks' projected preseason lineups (Daily Hive's line reports for the September 19, 22, 24, and 26 preseason games) and was not featured in coverage of the club's 2026-27 training camp roster announcement. The transaction record indicates he signed with Djurgardens IF in the SHL on 21 July 2026, meaning he is set to play in Sweden rather than for Vancouver or its AHL affiliate this season.
There is no current bull case for him as a Canucks fantasy asset. Historically he had carved out a fourth-line, penalty-killing role in Vancouver, but that history is not relevant if he has left the organization.
If the Elite Prospects transaction record is accurate, he has zero path to NHL games this season since he is not on an NHL roster at all, which is as bearish as it gets for fantasy purposes.
Where analysts split
Not applicable. This is not a role or usage debate among analysts; it is a roster-status question. The available record (Elite Prospects transactions, checked 26 September 2026) and the total silence about him in every current Canucks camp/lineup article both point the same direction: he appears to have left the organization for the SHL. No source found disputes this.
Research confidence: thin. Outlooks are grounded in web search over current reporting and refreshed through the season.
