Alondes Williams
Williams is a G League-level depth guard with no confirmed NBA rotation role right now; he is listed as a free agent, and my searches found no report of what happened to him after the Wizards' preseason.
Role
No NBA minutes, usage rate or starting role is reported for him. The latest reporting I found is from Oct. 11, when he signed an Exhibit 10 deal with Washington and was set to compete for a regular-season roster spot. CBS Sports (Oct. 11) said he could be waived at any time because the Wizards already hold his G League rights. He has used up his two-way eligibility, so RealGM and Rotoballer both expect him to end up with the Capital City Go-Go. I did not find a waiver notice or any transaction after Oct. 11, and I did not check NBA.com's transactions page. The reason he now shows as a free agent is unconfirmed. Last season he played four games for Washington, averaging 11.0 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists (Bullets Forever).
He produces at the G League level. He averaged 22.5 points, 5.4 rebounds and 4.2 assists in 35 games for Capital City in 2025-26 (RealGM), and he was a G League All-Star. During his 10-day deal with Washington in February he had a 25-point, 10-rebound game (Fox Sports). If injuries open up Washington's backcourt, or if another team signs him, he could get a short look.
He has appeared in only 13 NBA games over his career (CBS Sports). The Wizards left him off their initial camp roster, and Rotoballer says his fantasy appeal is limited unless injuries open a spot in Washington's backcourt. The expected outcome in the reporting is G League play, which would mean no NBA minutes.
Where analysts split
Broad agreement. The sources I found (RealGM, Rotoballer, CBS, Bullets Forever) all point to a G League path. None offers a current rotation view, so there is no real analyst debate to report.
Research confidence: thin. Outlooks are grounded in web search over current reporting and refreshed through the season.
