Tyson Etienne
Etienne is not on an NBA roster this season. He signed with Paris Basketball in France in July 2026, so he has no NBA role to project.
Role
No NBA minutes, usage or starting role exists for him. RotoWire reported on July 21, 2026 that he signed with Paris Basketball. Paris's own site describes him as a backcourt anchor alongside Nadir, for LNB Élite and EuroLeague play. Proballers shows two French league games so far this season, at 23.5 minutes and 20 points per game. That is a tiny sample. I did not check the NBA transactions page, so I can't rule out a later NBA signing.
He shot 39.8 percent from three and averaged 7.9 points in 15.8 minutes over 24 games for Brooklyn in 2025-26. Of those games, two were starts, per RotoWire. If he plays well in Europe, a return to the NBA is possible. I found no reporting that says one is expected.
Brooklyn did not tender him a qualifying offer on June 29, per RotoWire citing John Schuhmann. He had spent much of the first half of last season in the G League and got more NBA time only after the All-Star break. He is now under contract overseas, so he is unavailable for NBA lineups.
