Elic Ayomanor

Consensus #187 · WR62Week 9: on byeUpdated Oct 20

Ayomanor is a rotational fourth or fifth receiver in a weak Titans passing game. He has had a few big plays but little steady volume.

Role

Current reporting has him behind Carnell Tate, Wan'Dale Robinson and Calvin Ridley. Through two weeks FantasyPros had his snap share at 52%, against 82% for Tate, 67% for Robinson and 63% for Ridley (SI, about four weeks ago). CBS had him at 28 of 53 snaps (52.8%) in Week 2. Athlon's Week 6 vs. Colts snap table, indexed today, lists him at 28 snaps and 61%. I did not open that page, so I can't confirm the context. The one-of-two, 17-yard Texans line in our wire note matches Stanford's Week 5 recap, which also credits his first career special teams tackle. The Athlon page labels the Colts game Week 6, while our wire note calls the Texans game the most recent Sunday. I could not reconcile the two, and I found no Colts stat line for him. Chimere Dike also competes for the WR3 job, per CBS's player outlook. I found no target-share tracker for 2026.

The case for

SI argues he is arguably the Titans' best receiver and that the team should scheme for him. After two weeks he had the team's only touchdown from a wideout and the most receiving yards, 80, on six targets. His Week 2 line was 69 yards, a career high, on a 28-yard catch and a 41-yard catch. His snaps have been about 52% to 61% in the games I found, so the role is not tiny. That leaves room for more if Ridley or Robinson slows down or gets hurt.

The case against

The depth chart and snap data put him fourth among the wideouts. RotoBaller expected his role to shrink after the Tate and Robinson additions. CBS's outlook says to leave him on waivers in all but the deepest redraft leagues, noting 5.8 yards per target last year and an offense that ranked 30th in passing yards. Several of his 2026 games have been one or two catches, including his Week 1 touchdown, which came in garbage time with the Titans trailing 23-3.

Where analysts split

The split is whether his efficiency and big plays (SI) will earn him a bigger share of the snaps and targets, or whether the Tate, Robinson and Ridley trio plus Dike will keep him a low-volume rotational player on a poor offense (CBS, RotoBaller). Nothing I found shows his role changing so far.
