Harrison Butker
Butker is the Chiefs' undisputed kicker for the rest of the season, and his output depends on how often Kansas City's offense gets into field-goal range.

He is the only kicker on the Chiefs' roster as far as I found. Rotowire, citing ESPN's Nate Taylor on Jul 23, said the team had no other kicker entering training camp. CBS Sports' stat table (checked 13 Oct) has him 7-for-9 on field goals and 13 for 13 on PATs through four games, and 0-for-2 from 50-plus yards. Rotowire noted he has made just one field goal in three of those four games, so kick volume has been low. I did not find a kickoff-duty split or a current depth chart, and I did not fetch the official roster.
He is a long-tenured kicker with a track record. Wikipedia's career line, as of Week 4, is 258 of 293 on field goals (88.1%). He made 33 of 38 field goals while playing all 17 games in 2025. He also hit a 69-yard field goal in the preseason. In June he said he was shifting toward smooth contact over raw power, in response to last year's long misses. Four games in, the only misses are the two from 50-plus yards. Kansas City won its Week 4 game 30-27 at Las Vegas.
Kicking volume has been modest, with only one field-goal attempt in three of four games. Both of his misses this year came from 50-plus yards, the same range as his early-2025 trouble. Heavy.com reported he missed a field goal or extra point in five of his first six games last season. He also went 5-for-8 from 50-plus in 2025. A thin sample of long attempts leaves open whether the slump has really ended.
