Jalen Nailor
Nailor is a complementary Raiders receiver who has been involved but not productive early, and he is expected back at practice from his concussion, so his role looks the same as before the injury.
Role
Early-season reporting has him in the top two or three at receiver, on the field in plenty of routes, with Tre Tucker, Jack Bech and Cody White around him. In Week 1 he led the Raiders' wide receivers with five targets, but Michael Mayer (seven) and RB Ashton Jeanty (six) had more. In Week 2 he had three targets, fourth on the team. I found no current snap-share or target-share figures after Week 2, and I did not fetch a depth chart. His 2026 line through two games was four catches, 36 yards and no touchdowns on eight targets. The Week 3 and later box scores are missing, so I can't tell you where he stood when the concussion happened.
He signed a three-year, $35 million deal. Preseason coverage had him at No. 2 or No. 1 receiver, with a real connection to Kirk Cousins and a path to the biggest role of his career. Brock Bowers' knee absence in Week 1 left targets available. He runs plenty of routes and moves between the slot and outside, which gives him a base for spike weeks.
The production has not matched the usage. Rotowire called his Week 2 performance pedestrian and noted that Cody White scored twice as the fourth receiver. Rotowire's read is that he'll be a complementary piece, since Bowers and Jeanty dominate volume. Preseason coverage also noted that Tucker's 2025 season was better than anything Nailor has done. His one dated rest-of-season expert ranking in the results is WR75, but the page's date is unclear, so I wouldn't lean on it.
Where analysts split
The open question is whether he is the Raiders' lead receiver or a complementary piece, and whether White or Bech take snaps from him. Preseason sources called him a likely No. 1 or No. 2 receiver. In-season Rotowire coverage describes a complementary role and wonders about White's snaps. I found no current analyst debate after his injury.
