The same piece says Atlanta ranked second in the league in non-blitz pressure rate through four weeks. DraftSharks' team page shows 2026 totals of 7 sacks, 1 interception, 2 fumble recoveries, no defensive touchdowns and 14 fantasy points. It also lists the bye as Week 11. I did not read a current depth chart. DraftSharks says edge rusher Jalon Walker tore his left ACL in practice and will miss the entire season, but I could not date that note.
Pro Football Network argues Atlanta can generate pressure without sending extra rushers. That lets it keep coverage intact while still producing sacks and mistakes. It also notes the offense scored 80 points over the previous two weeks, which could force opponents into pass-heavy game scripts and more splash plays.
The season totals are modest: 7 sacks, 1 interception and 14 fantasy points in the DraftSharks line. DraftSharks says Walker's torn ACL hurts a pass-rushing group that already had questions. The same page notes safety Jessie Bates had a knee issue, though it says he was active for a game against the Patriots. Preseason projections I saw (FantasyPros, StatMuse) put the unit in the bottom half of defenses. I did not see how the Baltimore game went.
