Price is a first-round rookie who opened the season as Seattle's RB1 and is on IR with a chest injury, with his return timing tied to the Seahawks' next game and Charbonnet's return likely to cut into his work.

Before the injury he led the backfield: ESPN (about 25 days old) had him at 24 snaps in Week 1 and 24 in Week 2, 12 touches in Week 1 and 14 in Week 2, all on first and second down. George Holani, an excellent pass blocker, had played 18 of the team's 24 third-down snaps, and Emanuel Wilson was also in the mix. Zach Charbonnet is coming back from a torn ACL and may play Sunday against the Chiefs. Spokesman-Review (Oct. 19) says he could mix in on early downs and in the third-down and two-minute offense. Wilson will likely start. Price was placed on IR before Week 4 and has to stay on IR one more week. Macdonald's only update was that he is doing well. I did not find a confirmed return date, snap count or depth chart for after he returns.
He was drafted at No. 32 as the replacement for Kenneth Walker III. ESPN called him the RB1 and noted he is a better pass catcher than his college production suggested. Macdonald praised his decisiveness and explosiveness on outside zone. Price started both games he played, and a 25-yard run in Week 2 set up a touchdown. The coach's wire comment suggests a return soon after Week 7.
He is no longer the only lead option. Charbonnet's return, plus Wilson and Holani, points to a committee. Yahoo (20 days old) said Seattle was spoon-feeding him, and ESPN had his snaps capped at 24 in each of his first two games. Holani held the third-down snaps, and Price had no third-down work in those two games. Seattle has also struggled to run, according to the Seattle Times, and he has to come back from a chest injury.
Where analysts split
The open question is how much of the backfield Price takes back once Charbonnet and Wilson are available. ESPN's early framing was RB1 with defined roles, while others see a committee. No source I found gives a post-return snap or touch split, and there is no reporting on whether he gets any third-down work.
