This is a team defense, so there are no snaps or touches to report. The pass rush runs through Jeffery Simmons, with Keldric Faulk (first-round pick) and Franklin-Myers also named in the preseason Sharp Football Analysis unit breakdown. Cedric Gray, Cody Barton and rookie Anthony Hill Jr. are the linebackers named there. Gus Bradley is the defensive coordinator per SI's preseason piece. I did not read a current depth chart. Per Rotoballer (published within the last few days), the schedule runs Browns in Week 7, Bengals in Week 8, a bye in Week 9, then Jaguars in Week 10 and Cowboys in Week 11. I have not checked whether the Week 7 game has been played.
Tennessee has multiple sacks in five straight games, per Rotoballer. In Week 6 it had six sacks and three takeaways and held the Colts to 20 points. FantasyPros called it the top-scoring D/ST that week, helped by a blocked punt touchdown. NBC Sports has it as the 13th-ranked fantasy defense at 6.5 points per game. Rotoballer also noted that Cleveland had allowed the most sacks in the league through six weeks and that Deshaun Watson had been sacked a league-leading 24 times. The Titans' own offense has scored 20 points or fewer in five of six games, which points to low-scoring games.
NBC Sports says the unit ranks 28th in both pressure rate and turnover rate, which is not the profile of a good fantasy defense. FantasyPros says it is not as good as the Week 6 result suggests, and calls it a middling unit. Rotoballer says it is worth starting for only one week and can be dropped after the Browns game. It allowed 23 points in Week 1, per FantasyPros. Cam Ward has thrown an interception in four straight games, which can hand opponents short fields.

The split is whether the recent sack and turnover production is real or a matchup-driven spike. Rotoballer and FantasyPros treat it as a one-week or streaming play. NBC Sports ranks it a playable top-ten candidate despite the weak underlying pressure and turnover rates. NBC Sports also notes that consensus ranks sit lower than it would put the Titans.
