Tyrone Tracy Jr.
Tyrone Tracy is a fringe depth back on a Giants team that, per the current fantasy reports I found, has him behind Cam Skattebo and Devin Singletary. Najee Harris also competes for the work.
Role
RotoWire's Giants RB snap table (undated in the indexed copy) shows Skattebo at 50% of team snaps, Singletary at 12%, Harris at 10% and Tracy at 5%. RotoWire's 2026 line for Tracy is 4 carries for 16 yards and no receiving yards. RotoWire says he played one offensive snap in the 28-6 loss to the Rams on Monday. FantasyPros says he had one carry for minus-1 yard in the win over Arizona. FantasyData says he has a new coaching staff in 2026 and is behind Skattebo and Singletary. It adds that Harris could push him to RB4. I found no report of a defined target role or goal-line work for him this season.
He topped 1,000 scrimmage yards in each of his first two seasons (CBS and FantasyData). He has led this backfield before, so he is the likeliest to benefit if Skattebo or Singletary is hurt. Last season's reporting also showed the Giants' backfield usage swinging sharply from week to week.
Every 2026 source I found has him low in the pecking order. FantasyPros calls him an irrelevant fantasy option for now, and RotoWire says he lost his spot in the rotation. He has had a knee issue as well: RotoWire has him limited in practice on October 1 after missing practice on September 30. The Giants also signed Harris, and an August report had Tracy on the roster bubble.
Where analysts split
Broad agreement that he is a backup. The only open question is how the backup work divides among Singletary, Harris and Tracy, and I found no analyst arguing Tracy is ahead of the other two.
Injury: IR: assessed avoid
Hamstring strain, on IR
Tracy is on injured reserve with a hamstring strain and is out for at least four games, with Week 13 against the 49ers his earliest return. He is unrosterable for fantasy until then, and Singletary takes over as the top complement to Skattebo in the meantime.
What would change this: Any update on his practice participation as the Week 13 return window approaches.
Research confidence: thin. Outlooks are grounded in web search over current reporting and refreshed through the season.
