Week 6 Sunday: Barkley, Hall and Jackson Out; Brown Active

Inactives are in for the early window: Barkley, Breece Hall, Lamar Jackson and Tyler Warren are out. A.J. Brown and Chris Olave are active.

Ruled out this morning

Confirmed inactive: Saquon Barkley (hamstring), Breece Hall (quadriceps), Lamar Jackson (ankle), Tyler Warren (groin) and David Montgomery (groin, Texans game already underway at Jacksonville). Baker Mayfield will not play against Pittsburgh with the thumb. Kyle Monangai is out with turf toe, which hands Chicago's backfield to D'Andre Swift.

Already gone and staying gone: Jalen Hurts is on IR with a calf, De'Von Achane and Jaxson Dart are done for the year, and Travis Etienne, Jordyn Tyson, Alec Pierce, James Conner, Jonathon Brooks and Jordan Mason are all on IR. Jeremiyah Love is out at the Rams with the ankle. Josh Jacobs is on the Exempt List until Monday; he cannot help you today.

Rashee Rice is out against the Chargers with the hamstring/knee. That one was known Friday, but if he is still in your lineup, move now.

Active, go ahead

A.J. Brown is active against the Jets, his first game since Week 1. Start him in anything deeper than a shallow league, but understand the caveat: he is coming off a high-ankle sprain and the team talk is "a good amount" of snaps, not all of them. Romeo Doubs has been the top target in his absence.

Chris Olave is active at the Giants after an illness week. He has 36 targets in four games and Tyler Shough looks his way constantly. No hesitation. Zay Flowers is cleared with the toe, DK Metcalf was removed from the report entirely, Ladd McConkey has no designation, DeVonta Smith practiced fully and Terry McLaurin is clean for Monday. Brock Bowers practiced fully Thursday; the knee is maintenance, and he has 24 catches for 312 yards and three scores in three games back.

Cam Skattebo plays, but Dan Duggan reported a near-even rep split with Najee Harris this week. That is a real workload warning, not an injury one.

The pivot by position

Quarterback: Jackson, Hurts and Mayfield owners need a body. Josh Allen and Drake Maye are the clean adds if somehow free; Dak Prescott in the Sunday nighter and Justin Herbert at Kansas City are the realistic ones. Caleb Williams carries a hamstring tag with no practice detail attached to it. I don't know if he plays, and the report doesn't say. Don't bank on him.

Running back: losing Barkley or Hall hurts most. Braelon Allen takes the Jets' lead work per the team's own reporting. In Chicago, Swift gets the bump with Monangai out. For a free-agent-level swing in Houston, Woody Marks absorbs Montgomery's snaps. Higher up, Omarion Hampton, Ashton Jeanty and Kyren Williams are the healthy starts.

Receiver: for Rice, slide to Nico Collins, Drake London or Malik Nabers. Tight end: Warren's absence sends you to Trey McBride or Colston Loveland; Indianapolis will spread his targets among Alie-Cox, Mallory, Downs and Allen, which is a mess to guess at.

The late games

Quinshon Judkins is a true game-time call against Baltimore. Rapoport says a pregame workout decides it, he practiced once this week and wore a boot after Week 5. Have a bench back ready.

TreVeyon Henderson is questionable with a high-ankle sprain and Rapoport says he is likely to suit up, but Rhamondre Stevenson's workload literally depends on that call. Stevenson is the safer of the two.

DJ Moore is questionable with the AC joint, missed Week 5 and returned Friday in a non-contact jersey. At Las Vegas in the late window, inactives aren't out yet. Mike Evans is questionable with ribs for Monday night; no final word.

Rico Dowdle has a toe issue with no severity detail reported. Jaylen Thorpe-level clarity it is not. For the 4:05 and 4:25 kicks and the Dallas-Green Bay nighter, inactive lists are not public yet; check them before you lock.
